George Washington's 18th Rule of Civility

18th: "READ no letters, books, or papers in company; but when there is a necessity for the doing of it, you must ask leave. Come not near the books or writings of another so as to read them or give your opinion of them unasked; also look not nigh when another is writing a letter."

That is a pretty powerful rule. In otherwords, we should be paying attention to those around us, not ignoring them. Good add on Kenny. Thanks for the posts on the rules David. Love you, Grandma Dot
