Good Morning...or...Good Evening?

It's 1:00 AM as I post this. I am going to sleep now. (Do I sound like Victoria E. or what?)

You probably don't care that I am very tired. It's my fault really. I should get up EARLY and go to bed EARLY. (If you know what mean)

So tomorrow I'll get up early and have a full day. After all, today is all that we have. We can't be sure of tomorrow and yesterday is behind us. Keep this in mind. Don't push stuff aside that you can accomplish today. We feel proud of ourselves and have more self esteem when we finish what we've started.

This past week, I have been faithfully reading my Bible every morning. It has been so good for me. I would encourage you to do the same.

Well I better hit the hay...Nighty-Night..

My Love/Hate Relationship with Running

Today I ran four miles to Rays food store just down the road. Okay, so I didn't run ALL the way. I walked about half. After getting back, I thought I was pooped and just Couldn't POSSIBLY RUN ANYMORE...

.......apparently NOT!

Devin wanted to run as well. I was thinking quite Crazily.
I said, "Sure, why don't we just run out to the Goldman's house. (The Goldman's house from ours: about 5 MILES. But it was 5 miles there! We also had to run back.)

After we arrived at their house, I was exhausted! But I had to run back...

To cut a LONG STORY short, I hate running. But that's not all. I brought along my mother's iPod and it was so wonderful listening to great PRAISE MUSIC WHILE RUNNING.
I just gave glory to God while I was sweating and panting like a St. Bernard doggy. I also know that running is great exercise for the body. But it sure is hard. :)

There you have it. I now have a concrete love/hate relationship with running.

P.S. Running distance: About 14 MILES. I'M POOPED. BUT HAPPY I FINISHED IT.

Books for Young Men

Books are needed terribly
In every man's younger days.
I find it quite extremely important
In, well, actually several ways.

First and foremost,
It increases character.
If you have none, well,
You'll have it when mature.

It doth also strengthen and help
Our weak & troubled vocabulary.
Seeing as how we're not the brightest,
Nor smartest, when we but only query.

And yet another thing I do know
It doth enhance.
Our intellect! 'Tis true.
Ha! Is it not somewhat new?!

Yes, indeed books are wonderful,
But are they good? Do they teach love?
Well, depending on the book that you buy,
I wouldn't plan on the behavior said above.

I'm sitting here in my room waiting for inevitable. Yes. Destiny, Natalie Emmons, My Mom, & Grandma-Dot are flying out for Alabama today. 'Tis sad but we must all live with it.

What I guess I mean is that although they will be leaving we will see them again.

Of Singing...

OK, so what do I post about?

Hmmm...

Oh yes. Well, I like to sing.

Actually, let me make that clearer.

I like to sing but others don't like it when I sing. But...really it depends on what I sing. Of course...Even if I sing a song when I do, the one who's listening must enjoy it too.

You see, someone might like the song that I sing but not like how I sing it. Others might like how I sing the song but not like the song themselves. You now can see that it is very hard! to please everyone. In fact... It's impossible!

One more thing to add is that even if they do like the song & how I sung it, they might not like the time that I chose to sing that song at!

Life is full of obstacles but we just gotta' keep on movin' forward.

Scheduling?

Okay, so here's the dealio. I woke up today feeling very sore (from running yesterday). So I woke up at about 7:45. That is quite late but don't bother. Anyway, after that I shuffled to breakfast. After I had gorged myself, I discovered my mom staring at a (quite large) schedule. "What's that mom?" I asked casually. "It's our new schedule." she replied. "Oh, right. Well, what do I do first?" "Chores." "Okay."

After I had done my chores, I found myself staring at lots of schoolwork (which I need to finish after this post). However, I did pull through and I am actually almost finished with it all. Although it was a challenge, I am looking forward to Friday (I like challenges I guess) and will post then. That post will be better than this one. But I guess that's just me.

It is very hot.

Today it is scorching outside. It is ulmost boiling. It's crazy! I just want a pool. I am hot and I want a pool. That's how I'm feeling right now.

I am doing shool.

Right now I am doing school. It isn't all that I do although it is much of what I do. Does that make sense? I hope so. Okay, I just wanted to quickly pass that message on to you all. Bye now.

My Camera is Dead! "CRYING"

My camera broke about 2 weeks ago "sneeze" and I'm still recovering from the effects of this tragedy. It pains me to talk of it and I don't know if It'll ever get fixed "grabbing another tissue" but I want you all to know that when it is fixed I will be posting pictures. Until then, expect none other (pictures) than the ones I already have on my lap-top.

Isn't It a Nice Day?

Today was great. But wait! It's NOT over yet. I still might be practicing my Duo with Kaila later today (which CAN be fun, I guess) and then it will be night time. So... I did work on my other speech and I hear Devin and Destiny in the other room practicing their Duo but I still got to do the Duo I am in. I am glad that I get to be going to Regionals though and I think it will be fun! So long.

It's a Rainy Day Today

Well, I'm just doing school, eating, sleeping, speeching (doing speeches), and cleaning as well as playing chess, watching my little brothers and sisters run in circles too. I also happened to find this old hymn book and have been playing hymns on my piano today. They actually are quite thrilling when playing them. But... that is about it today. Not much.

I guess I'll get back to the stuff mentioned above. Bye!
